The Wellness Calendar brings together Agency. One experiences and a curated selection of noteworthy wellness retreats, programs and events happening around the world. Agency. One experiences are created by us, bringing together people, places, wellness, food, and culture into a distinct way to experience a destination. Alongside them, we surface select experiences from properties, practitioners and wellness brands that we believe are worthy of your time.

A four-day mountain residency led by The Class founding teacher Jaycee Gossett, pairing breathwork and intentional movement with the restorative rhythm of The Lodge at Blue Sky. Between classes, move through the landscape at your own pace, with hiking, fly fishing, spa rituals and time with Blue Sky’s rescue horses creating space for reflection and year-end recalibration.

A three-day Santa Ynez Valley residency led by Courtney Deri pairing The Class’s music-driven movement and breathwork with restorative practices and intention-setting for the year ahead. The slower pace of Mattei’s Tavern leaves room for meaningful gathering, good food and time to reflect between practices.

This longevity-focused retreat offers a deep, personalized look at your health and how you’re aging, combining advanced diagnostics, 200+ biomarkers and more than 18 one-on-one consultations with experts across medicine, movement, nutrition, sleep and performance. The value is in what Canyon Ranch does with the data: connecting the findings into a personalized longevity plan designed to support how you want to live and age, with three months of follow-up after you leave. An all-inclusive wellness resort with real depth behind it. Come for the desert setting, spa and 35+ daily activities; go deeper with physicians, diagnostics and specialists if you want the time to do more than help you unwind.
Lefay offers a wide range of ways to shape a wellness stay, from one-night alpine spa breaks and focused multi-day programs to visiting-practitioner residencies. Choose Lake Garda for olive-covered hills and expansive lake views, or the Dolomites for a dramatic setting surrounded by woods and mountain peaks.

This is the kind of pairing we look for: a strong wellness experience at a property with enough beauty and depth to make every part of the stay worthwhile. The Class gives the four days a clear purpose, while Blue Sky gives you the breadth of programming to maximize the time around it.
Blue Sky is about 40 mins from Salt Lake City airport and remote enough that the property itself becomes the experience. That works in its favor: beyond The Class, there is a deep wellness and outdoor program. Edge Spa and Edge Sanctuary add thermal rituals, movement, sound and energy work, while the ranch opens up into hiking, fly fishing, equine experiences and high-alpine adventures. That gives the residency unusual range across wellness, nature and adventure.
Someone drawn to social, movement-based wellness, energized by the outdoors and who likes a stay to have a sense of adventure built into it. Blue Sky is a strong fit for someone who gravitates toward outdoor pursuits, or simply enjoys being surrounded by a striking natural landscape, appreciates a highly designed lodge environment, and wants the setting to feel as compelling as the wellness programming itself.
Auberge is one of our favorite hotel collections because its properties and wellness offerings have a strong sense of place and a distinct point of view. Each one is shaped by its destination through the design, art, food, landscape and experiences, creating a stay that feels layered and immersive.
What makes this work is the balance. The Class gives the weekend a clear physical and reflective focus, while Mattei’s adds food, wine, social energy and enough open time to keep the experience flexible. In early January, it becomes a strong way to set the tone for the year ahead with meaningful programming, intentional reflection and time to enjoy California wine country.

The residency includes two extended Class sessions, a shorter closing practice and shared meals, with Saturday afternoon left open. Use it for Lavender Barn’s thermal circuit or extend your stay for wine tasting, e-biking and more time in Santa Ynez Valley.
Someone drawn to social, movement-based wellness who enjoys a physical challenge and values breathwork and somatic practices, with room for good food, wine and time to explore.
This is one of the stronger longevity programs we’ve seen, especially in the U.S., because of both the depth of the assessment and what happens with the findings. Canyon Ranch brings medical, movement, nutrition, sleep and performance expertise together, then translates the findings into one personalized plan with follow-up after the stay. The value is not simply knowing more about your health; it is understanding what to do with that information.
Someone who is proactive about their health, likes understanding how their body is performing, and wants to make informed choices about what could support them over time. This is especially compelling for someone who values deep assessment, expert interpretation and leaving with a clear sense of what to focus on next.
Canyon Ranch Tucson has the kind of depth that lets wellness take many forms in one stay. The programming spans fitness, medicine, nutrition, mind-body work and spa, giving you real agency over how you spend your time. We also love the strength of the food program, from standout dining options to cooking classes and culinary education.
LONGEVITY8 is highly structured: the core program unfolds over four days, with full participation expected because the assessments and consultations build on one another to create the final personalized plan. Choosing the fifth night gives you more room to spread out individual services while making greater use of Canyon Ranch Tucson, including 30+ daily wellness activities, spa and fitness facilities, pools and hydrotherapy. The program is currently $22,000 per person or $40,000 per couple, with the same program price for four or five nights.
Advanced labs and screening across genetics, cardiovascular health, vascular health, bone density, body composition, hearing, sleep and other markers of healthy aging.
VO₂ max testing, muscle and joint assessment, movement and physical performance work designed to show how your body is functioning now.
Nutrition guidance, fueling strategies, sleep, longevity mindset and the behavioral factors that influence how you feel and age over time
Private meditation, spirituality, massage and restorative technologies that bring mental, emotional and physical recovery into the program.

La Sultana offers a unique way to experience Morocco: surfing, padel tennis, and a traditional hammam in a protected coastal setting, just 2.5 hours from Marrakech. We especially like pairing Oualidia with Marrakech because it creates an itinerary with real range, combining the cultural energy of Marrakech with a more active wellness stay shaped by the Atlantic and grounded in Moroccan traditions.
The retreat is priced for two guests for a minimum three-night stay, however, you always have the option to extend and enjoy more of Morocco. If you're interested in going solo, Agency. One will partner with the hotel directly to secure rates. English is spoken at the hotel. And if surfing is new to you, Oualidia is an especially approachable place to try it: the protected lagoon offers gentler conditions for beginners, while more exposed breaks can offer a step up from roughly November through March.
If you’re drawn to intimate hotels with highly personalized service, being near the ocean, excellent food and active wellness, La Sultana is an especially strong fit. For those that love variety and want to extend their stay, the proximity to Marrakech is also a real bonus, whether you know Morocco well or are experiencing it for the first time.
A Moroccan gem with just 12 rooms, La Sultana Oualidia has the intimacy of a private hideaway and a look entirely its own: a stone fortress rising above the lagoon, layered with gardens, terraces and individually designed rooms. There’s enough depth to reward a longer stay, and the food draws directly from Oualidia’s fishing culture, with local fish, shellfish and oysters at the center. The hotel also holds One Michelin Key.
Few wellness resorts have settings this striking. We recommend Lefay when someone wants serious wellness in a setting that feels extraordinary before a single treatment begins. Lefay SPA is a destination in its own right, with a distinctive East-meets-West philosophy and programming with real therapeutic depth. We also appreciate the flexibility of the offerings, which makes Lefay easy to build into a broader Italy itinerary or make it the entire focus of your journey.
Choose the Lefay property partly by the programming. Lefay Lago di Garda is home to the full 5- and 10-night SPA Method Health Programmes, while Lefay Dolomiti has its own focused experiences, including Active & Balance, seasonal wellness, sport and beauty. The choice is not simply lake versus mountains; it changes the wellness you have access to.
If you’re the kind of person who chooses a hotel partly for the architecture and could spend hours taking in breathtaking views, Lefay is an easy yes. It is equally strong for people who want real wellness depth behind that beauty. If winter wellness for you includes skiing, Lefay Dolomiti is especially interesting: you have access to one of Trentino’s largest ski areas, with Lefay SPA World and sports-focused treatments waiting back at the hotel.
The settings are extraordinary, and Lefay SPA World gives both properties equal depth on the wellness side. Lago di Garda in Lake Garda is terraced into an olive-covered hillside, its design inspired by the region’s historic lemon houses; Dolomiti in the Dolomites reinterprets traditional mountain architecture in wood and local stone. The recognition is equally strong, with multiple awards across both the properties and Lefay SPA, including One Michelin Key at Lago di Garda and Two at Dolomiti.
